This course will give students the ability to use a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software known as Fusion 360. We will go through the ins and outs of the software, and by the end of the course, students will be able to design fairly complex parts. This is meant to be a beginner course, no previous experience is required or necessary.
This course will give students the ability to use a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software known as Fusion 360. We will go through the ins and outs of the software, and by the end of the course, students will be able to design fairly complex parts. This is meant to be a beginner course, no previous experience is required or necessary.
In addition to teaching students about Fusion, it will go over a step-by-step tutorial on how to turn your design into a 3D-printed model using a 3D printer.

Through fun and interactive labs, students will learn basic shapes, joints, assemblies, and advanced tools. Throughout the week, they will learn to the point where they can create any object they choose. On the final day, they will learn how to import their creations into the 3D printing software and send it to be printed. They will then be able to keep their 3D model!
